Rangji Temple Pushkar

Rangji Temple is a sacred temple located in Pushkar which was built in 1823 by Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal. At the same time, a reflection of South Indian architectural style is also seen. This temple holds its place in the top three temples of Pushkar. Rangji Temple is a major tourist destination for South Indian pilgrims. Visiting this temple dedicated to one form of Lord Vishnu is a pleasant experience in itself.

Thousands of tourists and devotees flock to this 150-year-old Hindu temple every year. The most important feature of the temple is its architecture, which is a unique blend of Rajput, Mughal and South Indian architectural styles. The idol of Goddess Lakshmi, Shri Ramanujacharya, Devadamaji and Krishna in the temple complex is different from the idol of Rangji.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit Pushkar is from October to March which includes the monsoon and winter season. The scorching heat of summer can bother you during April and June. Most festivals, both religious and cultural, are celebrated during October and November.

How to reach

If you have chosen an air route to Pushkar, then let us know that Pushkar does not have an airport of its own. But the nearest Sanganer Airport is. This is about 150 kilometers from Pushkar. You will easily reach Pushkar from here.

Ajmer Junction is the nearest railway station to Pushkar and Pushkar is about 14 kilometres away. Ajmer railway stations are connected to various big cities of India. There are also private bus and taxi operators that can take you to Pushkar.

Ajmer’s bus stand is very well connected to major cities of the country. The distance from Ajmer to Pushkar is about 16 kilometers, so you will easily reach Pushkar from here.
