Nahargarh Fort Jaipur

Nahargarh Fort is situated between the Aravalli hills in Rajasthan. Which is as amazing in appearance as it is also huge. The fort was built in 1734 by Jai Singh II. The fort is also known to shelter many Europeans during the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857. This fort is visible from almost every corner of the city. The cannon placed here are considered to be the largest cannon in Asia. Its shape is estimated from the fact that its shell formed a pond in a village 35 km from the city.

King Sawai Ram Singh has built different housing blocks for the queens, which are also the most beautiful. Modern facilities for defecation etc. were arranged in them. In the west part of the fort there is also a restaurant called “Padao” which is full of catering. Sunset looks very beautiful from here.
