Goumukh Temple Mount Abu

Considered to be one of the holiest places of worship by Hindus, the Gomukh temple complex has a statue of a cow with a stream flowing naturally above its head. That is why this temple is called Gomukh Temple. Even in summer when the rest of the water bodies dry up, its water does not end. It is said about this temple that this temple was built in the dedication of Saint Vasistha who performed a yajna to build the four major Rajput dynasties. Best Time to Visit

Mount Abu the only hill station. It enjoys a calm and pleasant atmosphere during the whole year, hovering between 21 ° -33 ° C during summer and 11 ° -28 ° C during winter, a much needed respite from the heat and dust of Rajasthan.

By air: The nearest airport is Udaipur, 185 km from Mount Abu. However, at a distance of 221 km, Ahmedabad has better connectivity and daily flights to other areas of the country.

By Rail: Abu Road is the nearest railway station which is just 28 km from the main city, which is very well connected by railway routes to New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Mumbai.    

By Bus: Mount Abu is well connected by road with major metros of the country; 14 with nearest national freeway number are just 24 km from city.
