Birla Temple Jaipur
The Lakshmi Narayan Temple, situated at the foothills of the Moti Dogri hill top in Jaipur, is known as Birla Mandir. The temple was built by the Birla group in the 1980s. This is a Hindu temple of Lord Vishnu. This temple is one of the main attractions of Jaipur city. The place where the temple is built was given by the Maharaja of Jaipur to Birla for a meager amount of one rupee. The temple has a total of three domes, which represent the three forms of religion. The most important parts of the temple include the attractive idol of Lakshmi-Narayan, which is made of monolithic stone. Other idols of the temple include the idol of Lord Ganesha.
The Birla Mandir has been constructed keeping in mind modern art from pure white marble. The temple has artifacts and paintings of many Hindu deities. Also, on the walls of the Birla temple, there are paintings of great philosophers and scholars such as The Socrates, Christ, Buddha and Zarathustra.

The best time to visit Birla Mandir is from the months of October to March as Rajasthan is a desert state and it experiences very hot summers.
